In conjunction with World Meteorological Day, the Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department, BDMD, Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications held a Tree Planting activity, 30th October morning. It is one of the initiatives to support the Green Protocol Guidelines launched in line with the implementation of the Brunei Darussalam National Climate Change Policy.
Joining the activity was Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. It began with a warm-up session. 50 'Bucida Green' saplings and 15 'Gardenia' flowering plants were planted. The activity took place at the BDMD Weather Radar Building in Kampung Melabau.
