Collective efforts for the prevention and early detection of stroke are essential. The matter was highlighted at an event in conjunction with World Stroke Day, Jerudong Park Medical Centre, JPMC, 30th October morning.
Present was Doctor Hajah Rafidah binti Haji Gharif, Acting Permanent Secretary for Professional at the Ministry of Health. With the theme ''Every Minute Counts'', the campaign highlights the importance of recognising stroke symptoms early and acting FAST. Communities are also urged to promote stroke awareness through screenings, education, and support.
