The You-C1000 Veteran Basketball Cup 2025 raised its curtains with an opening game between Goh Hock Kee team and RYS. It took place at the Batu Bersurat Basketball Court in Gadong, 4th October night.
In the opening match, Goh Hock Kee's team in blue dominated all 4 quarters of the game. In the first quarter, they led RYS by 20 to 12. In the second quarter, the team widened the gap by 46 to 25. Entering the third quarter, they maintained the lead by a comfortable 59 to 36. In the last quarter, Goh Hock Kee secured an absolute victory with an additional 25 points, and win by 84 to 51. In other results, CJMM defeated Linktech by 100 to 89.
