More than 40 young performers took centre stage at the much-anticipated Legally Blonde: The Musical at the JIS Arts Centre on Friday, captivating the audience with their vibrant performances.
Based on the much-loved film, Legally Blonde follows Elle Woods, a bright, ambitious and determined young woman who refuses to let other people’s expectations define her. When her plans take an unexpected turn, Elle sets out on a journey that challenges her to step outside her comfort zone, discover her strengths and pursue her dreams – all while staying true to herself.
At its heart, of the latest musical organised by Relentless Entertainment and the Academy of Performing Arts, Legally Blonde is a story about confidence, friendship, resilience, kindness and believing in yourself.
It reminds that success isn’t about fitting into someone else’s idea of who you should be – it’s about recognising your own potential and having the courage to pursue it.
The showcase had incredible talent within the local creative community while delivering a fun, vibrant and inspiring production that audience of all ages can enjoy.
Flora Ngu stars as Elle Woods, the musical’s leading character, while Azim Mutalib portrays Emmett Forrest.
