50 youth nationwide participated in the Youth Camp Programme which is intended to strengthen the identity and character of the participants through an Islamic approach. The three-day programme held at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah was officially opened on 9th August night.
The opening was officiated by Awang Iswandy bin Ahmad, Assistant Managing Director, Welfare Services and Social Development, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. Organised by Yayasan and conducted by the youth groups of the Syababurroja mosque and the Ashabul Akhyar Mosque Youth in collaboration with the Mosque Affairs Department and the Natiowide Mosque Youth Group, the programme is hoped to instil the spirit of leadership, social responsibility and teamwork among the youth.
