The Council for Welfare of Persons with Different Abilities, MKOKU in cooperation with Nadi Asy-Syura Group, Brunei's national umbrella body representing nine non-governmental organisations, NGOs for persons with disabilities, organised the Youth Disability Camp 2025: Empowering Brunei's Young Persons with Disabilities. The camp was launched at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas, 14th August morning.
The launch was officiated by Dato Paduka Haji Alimin bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Advisor of MKOKU. Also held was an appreciation certificate presentation to contributing NGOs. The three day camp brings together 38 youth with disabilities aims to strengthen leadership, enhance confidence, and foster community engagement.
