The programme concluded with the recitation of Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.

The Pejuang Fajr Programme is hoped to continue serving as a platform to encourage the community, particularly youth, to enliven mosques, strengthen bonds of fellowship, and deepen their appreciation of Islamic teachings and love for Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

The programme received an encouraging response, with around 100 participants comprising congregants of As-Salaam Mosque, government officers, retirees, youth including male and female students from higher education institutions, members of the Da’ie Youth Committee and the public. Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Dr Haji Mohammed Hussain bin Pehin Penyurat Haji Ahmad was the guest of honour.

The programme is one of the Da’ie Youth Volunteer Body’s initiatives in fulfilling its role as a youth organisation actively involved in dakwah and Al-Amr Bil Ma’ruf Wa An-Nahyu ‘Anil Munkar in Brunei Darussalam, particularly through campaigns promoting congregational Fajr prayers.

The programme also aimed to raise public awareness of the importance on mahabbah which is love and devotion towards Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), through strengthening faith, prayers, worship and good deeds, while increasing the recitation of selawat upon Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), his family and companions.

In addition, the programme also sought to promote Tazkiyatun Nafs, particularly in welcoming the month of Rabiulawal, which holds special significance as the month marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). At the same time, the programme aimed to enliven mosques through religious and spiritual activities.
