很高兴应邀出席纪念中文建交35周年，深化21世纪海上
丝绸之路合作国际学术研讨会。我谨代表中国驻文莱使馆，

对本次学术研讨会的举办表示热烈祝贺，向长期关心支持中
国发展、积极推动中文友好的各界朋友致以诚挚感谢！

It is a great pleasure to be invited to attend the Brunei Darussalam-China
Forum 2026. On behalf of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in
Brunei Darussalam, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations on the
successful convening of the forum. My sincere gratitude goes to Brunei
friends from all walks of life who have long cared about and supported
China’s development and actively promoted China-Brunei friendship!

中国和文莱是隔海相望的友好邻邦，一条海上丝绸之路
将两国紧紧联系在一起。千百年来，文莱作为古代海上丝绸
之路的重要节点，是中国与东南亚地区贸易往来的重要枢纽
。中国南京的浡泥国王墓、文莱海事博物馆里的沉船，生动
讲述我们的祖先互通有无、相知相交的历史故事。今天，文
莱已成为“一带一路”上的一颗明珠，也是中国推动构建人类
命运共同体的重要伙伴，中国和文莱携手奔向现代化，让两
国绵延千年的海丝情谊焕发出新的生机活力。

China and Brunei are close neighbors, and the ancient maritime Silk
Road brought our two countries closely together. For over one thousand
years, Brunei has stood as a important node along the ancient maritime Silk
Road, serving as an important hub for trade and exchanges between China
and Southeast Asia. The Tomb of the King of Boni in Nanjing, China, and the
shipwreck displayed at the Brunei Maritime Museum vividly recount the
history of our ancestors exchanging goods, building mutual understanding,
and forging enduring bonds of friendship. Today, Brunei has become a
shining pearl along the Belt and Road, as well as an important partner for
China in advancing together toward a community with a shared future for

humanity. As China and Brunei join hands on the path toward modernization,
the millennia-old friendship forged along the maritime Silk Road between our
two countries is being revitalized with new vitality.

Dear friends,今年是中文建交35周年。35年春华秋实，中文关系取得
历史性发展，成为大小国家平等相待、合作共赢的典范。去
年，习近平主席同哈桑纳尔苏丹陛下就构建中文命运共同体
达成重要共识，开启中文关系崭新篇章。今年5月，比拉王
储殿下成功对华进行正式访问，习近平主席在会见王储殿下
时指出，中国和文莱要做高度互信的战略伙伴、互利共赢的
发展伙伴、相知相亲的文明伙伴、全球治理的合作伙伴，为
中文命运共同体建设指明了新的发展方向，注入了强劲政治
动力。

This year marks the 35 th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic
relations between China and Brunei Darussalam. Over the past 35 years,
China-Brunei relations have flourished and borne fruitful results, achieving
historic progress and setting a fine example of equality and win-win
cooperation between countries of different sizes. Last year, President Xi
Jinping and His Majesty reached the important consensus on working
towards a China-Brunei community with a shared future, opening a brand
new chapter in bilateral relations. In May this year, His Royal Highness the
Crown Prince paid a successful official visit to China. During the meeting
with His Royal Highness, President Xi Jinping pointed out that China and
Brunei should be strategic partners with a high-degree of mutual trust,
development partners in win-win cooperation, civilization partners with

mutual understanding and amity, and partners in global governance, which
has charted a new course for and injected strong political impetus into the
building a China-Brunei community with a shared future.

当前，世界百年未有之大变局加速演进，国际格局正在
经历深刻复杂演变。不论国际风云如何变幻，中国始终把周
边置于外交全局的首要位置，将友好邻邦文莱作为中国外交
尤其是周边外交的重要方向。我们愿同文莱各界朋友一道努
力，坚持元首战略引领，深化政治互信，深入推进“一带一路
”倡议与文莱“2035宏愿”对接，扩大各领域交流合作，推进更
高质量民心相通，共同开启中文关系更加美好的未来。

In today’s world, changes unseen in a century are unfolding at a faster
pace, and the international landscape is experiencing profound and complex
transformations. No matter how the international landscape fluctuates, China
always places the neighboring region in a priority position of its diplomatic
agenda, and regards its friendly neighbor Brunei as an important direction,
particularly in its neighborhood diplomacy. China stands ready to work
together with friends from all sectors of Brunei to follow the strategic
guidance of the two heads of state, deepen political mutual trust, further
enhance the synergy between the Belt and Road Initiative and Brunei’s
Wawasan 2035, expand exchanges and cooperation across various fields, and
promote closer people-to-people ties. Together, we can usher in an even
brighter future of China-Brunei relations.

今年是中国共产党成立105周年。105年来，中国共产党
团结带领中国人民，开辟了实现中华民族伟大复兴的正确道

路，创造了经济快速发展和社会长期稳定两大奇迹。中国国
家治理体系和治理能力现代化进程不断推进，为各国破解发
展难题、探索治理路径提供了重要借鉴。2025年中国国内生
产总值突破140万亿元，稳居世界第二大经济体，对世界经
济增长的贡献率保持在30%左右，中国自改革开放以来有8
亿多人成功脱贫，对世界减贫贡献超过70%，建成世界规模
最大的教育、医疗和社会保障体系，发展成果更多更公平地
惠及全体人民。中国不仅为中华民族谋复兴，也为世界人民
谋幸福，不仅追求自身发展，也致力于同世界上其他国家实
现共同发展。习近平主席提出构建人类命运共同体理念和全
球发展倡议、全球安全倡议、全球文明倡议、全球治理倡议
，为解决人类重大问题贡献了中国智慧、中国方案、中国力
量，中国已成为公认的世界和平的建设者、全球发展的贡献
者、国际秩序的维护者。展望未来，中国愿继续同包括文莱
在内的世界各国一道，高举和平、发展、合作、共赢旗帜，
弘扬全人类共同价值，践行四大全球倡议，携手共建人类命
运共同体。

This year marks the 105 th anniversary of the founding of the Communist
Party of China (CPC). Over the past 105 years, the CPC has united and led
the Chinese people in blazing the right path to the great rejuvenation of the
Chinese nation, creating two miracles of rapid economic growth and enduring
social stability. China has continued to advance the modernization of its
system and capacity for national governance, providing important experience
for countries around the world in addressing development challenges and
exploring pathways to effective governance. In 2025, China’s GDP surpassed

RMB 140 trillion, firmly maintaining its position as the world’s second-
largest economy, while its contribution to global economic growth remained
around 30 percent. Since the launch of reform and opening up, more than 800
million people in China have been lifted out of poverty, accounting for more
than 70 percent of the global poverty reduction effort. China has also
established the world’s largest education, healthcare and social security
systems, ensuring that the fruits of development are shared more broadly and
equitably by all its people.

China is not only working for the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, but
also for the well-being of people around the world. It is not only pursuing its
own development, but is also committed to achieving common development
with other countries. President Xi Jinping has put forward the vision of
building a community with a shared future for humanity, as well as the Global
Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, the Global Civilization
Initiative and the Global Governance Initiative, contributing Chinese wisdom,
Chinese solutions and Chinese strength to addressing major challenges facing
humanity. China has become widely recognized as a builder of world peace, a
contributor to global development and a defender of the international order.
Looking ahead, China stands ready to continue working with countries
around the world, including Brunei, to hold high the banner of peace,
development, cooperation and win-win, carry forward the common values of
humanity, work to deliver on the four major global initiatives, join hands in
building a community with a shared future for humanity.

深化合作离不开思想支撑。多年来，以中国社科院亚太
与全球战略研究院和文莱大学为代表的两国智库与高校，开
展了有声有色的学术交流，有力促进了两国文明互鉴和民心

相通。本届学术研讨会的召开，适逢中文建交35周年，聚焦
21世纪海上丝绸之路的交流合作，可谓正当其时。期待各位
专家学者通过研讨充分碰撞智慧，总结合作经验，启迪未来
发展，为中文交流合作与中文命运共同体建设贡献更多良策
。

Deepening cooperation cannot be achieved without intellectual support.
Over the years, think tanks and universities from both countries, represented
by the National Institute of International Strategy of Chinese Academy of
Social Sciences and Universiti Brunei Darussalam, have engaged in vibrant
and substantive academic exchanges, making an important contribution to
mutual learning between our two civilizations and fostering closer bonds
between our peoples. The convening of this forum coincides with the
important milestone of the 35 th anniversary of diplomatic relations between
China and Brunei Darussalam and focuses on exchange and cooperation
under the framework of the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road, and it is
therefore right on time. I look forward to experts and scholars here fully
exchanging ideas through this forum, summarizing experiences in
cooperation, and exploring new paths for future development, thereby
contributing more valuable insights to China-Brunei exchanges and
cooperation and to the building of a China-Brunei community with a shared
future.
