The successful installation of the solar PV system reflects Inchcape Brunei commitment towards a long-term sustainable journey and responsible business practices. The initiative makes it the first automotive company in the country to install rooftop solar panels in their premises. These installations will generate substantial amounts of renewable energy, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by an estimated 100 to 156 metric tons. The launch of the initiative was held this morning in Gadong.
Present was Awang Abdul Salam bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Assistant Director, Energy Transition Division at the Department of Energy, Prime Minister's Office. The solar PV systems installed at two key locations: Lexus Showroom and Service Centre in Gadong and Toyota Showroom and Service Centre in Beribi.
