Several matches took place on 13th October night for the Open Category for Group A, comprising the teams from the Ministry of Home Affairs, MOHA; Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, KKBS; Ministry of Defence, MINDEF; Ministry of Health, MOH; and Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, MTIC. The matches took place at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.
In the opening match, MOHA and KKBS collect one point after tied in a goalless draw.
MINDEF and MOH also tied in a goalless draw and collect one point.
MTIC beat MOHA one-nil.
In the second match, KKBS collected three points after defeating MINDEF one-nil.
MOH tied in a one-all draw.
MINDEF lost against MOHA three-nil in the third match.
KKBS tied in a one-all draw against MOH.
MTIC continued to collect three points after beating MINDEF one-nil.
MOHA on top of the group after defeated MOH three-nil.
In last match of Group 'A', MTIC defeated KKBS one-nil to finish the game in the second place.
