The Tarannum Al-Qur'an workshop served as a platform for the country's Qari and Qariah to attend face-to-face training with facilitators who are experienced and skilled in Al-Qur'an reading. The 5-day workshop ended at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 14th February afternoon.
With the workshop, the participants had the opportunity to further polish their Al-Qur'an reading, specifically in the aspects of tajwid, fashahah or eloquence, melody and voice. Present to close the ceremony was Pengiran Doctor Haji Amiruddin bin Pengiran Haji Damit, Director of the MABIMS Centre for Al-Qur'an Studies and Dissemination. During the workshop, the participants had the opportunity to assess, review and refine their reading, aside from gaining knowledge and improve their understanding on tarannum and Al-Qur'an studies.
