An Indonesian woman was ordered to pay a fine of BND8,610 Brunei Dollars for the offence of storing and possessing various types of taxable health and cosmetic products without valid permit.
47-year-old Astutik was apprehended on 24th of August 2023 by officers from the Royal Customs and Excise Department and Ministry of Health at Kampung Serambangun, Tutong. She faced three charges involving 1,058 units of health and cosmetics products of various brands. All the products were seized and handed over to the government to be disposed.
