Loss of hope is the whispers of Satan who wants a person to feel unworthy of returning to Allah SWT. Thus, Islam urges its ummah to supplicate to Allah SWT at all times and circumstances, whether in hardship or ease. This was among the contents of the Friday Sermon titled 'Never Lose Hope'.
The imam or prayer leader said that often when a person is tested with various problems until he feels hopeless, he should remember three important things namely: Trials and difficulties are temporary; Second: Allah SWT hears the supplication and complaints or grievances of His servants even if only with tears or whispers in the heart, and Third: Help from Allah SWT comes in unexpected forms, sometime through someone who is present to support us, through unexpected sources of sustenance or through peace in the heart granted by Allah SWT.
