Islam attaches great importance on health, and encourages the ummah to take measures to avoid from getting any disease. Islam also reminds the ummah to avoid things that can harm the mind and the body, and prohibits all harmful food, drinks, and substances. This was among the content of the Friday Sermon titled 'Practise A Healthy Lifestyle.'
The sermon highlighted that today, various diseases caused by modern lifestyle have become the main causes of death in the country, such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, diabetes, and others. Said diseases require high treatment costs. Hence, to prevent such diseases, we consumed balanced healthy diet and practise healthy lifestyle.
