'Rezeki' or sustenance is Allah's blessing that is not only in the form of wealth, but also health, peace, a happy family, and ease in life. This was highlighted in the Friday Sermon titled 'Seeking Sustenance with Good Deeds.' The sermon emphasised that in Islam, seeking sustenance is not just making efforts physically, but also good deeds that bring blessings. This includes piety towards Allah, giving alms, strengthening ties, performing the Sunat Dhuha prayer, and increasing supplications.
Verily, a healthy body, having a happy family, being blessed with children, having a roof over the head, or being surrounded by good people are forms of sustenance. Allah blesses every person with their own form of sustenance, but at times, people do not seem to see or realise it.
