The Fire and Rescue Department plays a very important role. Their main task is not just to put out fires, but also to help save lives and educate the community about safety measures, investigate the cause of incidents and plan early action to prevent disasters. These were touched upon in the Friday Sermon titled "Steadfast in Responsibility, Trustworthy in Service".
Islam makes noble character an important foundation in every aspect of life, especially in carrying out duties, take responsibilities and carrying out work. Indeed, Muslims are taught to always practise praiseworthy qualities such as honesty in action, sincerity in intention, patience in facing challenges and trust in every responsibility they hold. Especially for those who are entrusted to serve in the field of safety and protecting lives such as personnel of the Fire and Rescue Department. Every action, whether when extinguishing fires, saving lives or protecting property, is a trust that not only has an impact in this world, but will also be taken into account in the hereafter. Hence, carry out every work and task with a full sense of trust and responsibility.
