KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 17): Silver Ridge Holdings Bhd’s (Silver Ridge) wholly owned subsidiary, Silver Ridge Sdn Bhd (SRSB), has secured a RM42.88 million contract from the Education Ministry to supply laptops to teachers in Sarawak.
The next-generation telecommunication solutions provider said SRSB received a letter of acceptance dated Dec 16, 2025, from the ministry to provide laptops on a lease-to-own basis for teachers at schools and educational institutions in Zone 2 (Sarawak) for a 64-month period.
The contract will run from Jan 1, 2026, to April 30, 2031, with an initial four-month period for supply, installation, testing and commissioning, followed by the remaining 60 months of the lease period, Silver Ridge announced to Bursa Malaysia today.
It added that the contract falls within the group’s ordinary course of business.
On the financial impact, Silver Ridge said the contract will not have any material effect on its issued and paid-up share capital, net asset per share or gearing for the financial year ending June 30, 2026.
“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the board is of the opinion that the tender contract will contribute positively to the future earnings of the group,” it said. – Bernama
