TAMBUNAN (Jan 8): The Bingkor Rural Tourism Association has demonstrated its community commitment by presenting a cash donation to the Tambunan Orphanage during a recent welfare programme.
Its chairman, Razzidin Robert, presented the contribution to the orphanage’s principal, Noor Jannah Rusinin, who accepted it on behalf of the home’s management and residents.
Razzidin said the initiative reflects the association’s dedication to playing an active role in local community welfare.
“This contribution may be modest, but we hope it will help meet the daily needs of the orphans here and bring them some joy,” he said.
He further expressed hope that the effort would inspire more organisations to contribute collectively to community welfare.
In response, Noor Jannah conveyed her sincere appreciation for the donation, describing it as deeply meaningful.
“This assistance is vital in supporting our daily operations and the well-being of the children,” she said, while also hoping for more sustained support from other parties to ensure the orphans’ welfare is continually safeguarded.
