As part of the The Department of Immigration and National Registration's efforts in enforcing Acts and Regulations, an OPERASI PANYAP was conducted targetting rented houses and rooms in Mukim Kilanas and Mukim Sengkurong.
In the operation, 6 foreigners were detained and brought to the Law Enforcement Division for further investigation. All the foreigners were believed to have overstayed in the country after their immigration passes expired. One of them was believed to be working using a Visit Pass. Meanwhile, four others failed to produce original documents during the inspection.
