The Voting and Selection of the Village Head for Kampung Tanjong Nangka was held at the Sengkurong Community Hall, 4th January morning, with the goal of selecting a village representative that acts as a bridge between the government and the people.
Awang Mohammad Rakin bin Ramli earned 199 votes, while Awang Rozan bin Haji Kaderi/Haji Bujang received 31 votes. Present were Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Haji Mohamed, Member of the Legislative Council, and Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhamad, Brunei Muara District Officer.
