In commemoration of the 74th anniversary of the Information Department's establishment, the department held a Reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil ceremony for Al- Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al- Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit and Al- Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. The ceremony took place at the Royal Mausoleum.
Present, Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, Deputy Minister for Civil Service Governance at the Prime Min ister's Office. The Information Department continues to strengthen its role in disseminating valid government information, policies, programmes and activities.
