A company was issued a compound fine for an offence under the Miscellaneous Offences Act, Chapter 30. The offence was discovered during a patrol and monitoring by the Brunei Muara District Office through the Licensing and Enforcement Division at Kampung Limau Manis.
GJP Enterprise was fined BND500 and is required to settle the compound fine within 7 days. If in default, the company can be brought to court and if found guilty can be fined not exceeding BND30,000, imprisonment for a period not exceeding 12 months or both.
