The Brunei Darussalam Arbitration Centre (BDAC) recently participated in the Second Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Policy Dialogue on Institutionalising Mediation and Strengthening, ISDS Management Systems, held in Japan. It was organised by the Asian Development Bank Institute and the Asian Development Bank.
The Dialogue brought together key stakeholders from government institutions, academia, and the legal profession across Asia. Discussions among other things focused on the development of sustainable legal and institutional frameworks for ADR, and current challenges shaping ADR in the digital era.
BDAC's participation underscores Brunei Darussalam's commitment to strengthening its position as a credible and reliable hub for dispute resolution in the region.
