An Iban woman chose Islam as her new faith and recited the Islamic Oath at a conversion ceremony held at the Islamic Da'wah Centre, 13th February afternoon.
Present was Datin Hajah Mahayon binti Mohd Taha, wife of the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. 29-year-old Dayang Liyana Anak Linggat is now known as Dayang Nur Liyana Dalisya binti Linggat. As of the 10th of January, 46 people have embraced Islam, with 17 of them in the Brunei Muara District.
