The rituals of Haj have been successfully fulfilled. However, the experience of being in the Holy Land is certainly difficult for the country's pilgrims to forget. Performing the Haj is not just fulfilling the demands of the fifth pillar of Islam, but also a platform for self-reflection and renewing resolve, towards a life that is further based on Islamic teachings.
Overall, this year's Haj season went smoothly and orderly. Throughout their time in the Holy Land, the haj pilgrims also showed a high spirit of patience and cooperation in facing various challenges. This year's Haj season also marks an important milestone when Brunei Darussalam joins the 'Makkah Route' initiative for the first time. The initiative has greatly helped to facilitate the travel arrangements of the country's Haj pilgrims. Aside from focusing on performing religious acts, various spiritual and welfare programmes have also been organised throughout the country's Haj pilgrims' stay in the Holy Land. Now, all the country's pilgrims have safely arrived in the country. The greatest hope of every pilgrim is that all their deeds will be accepted by Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.
