The Language and Literature Bureau through the Library Division, launched the Mobile Library Service as an initiative to support the government's efforts to build a knowledgeable, informed and reading-culture society. The launching took place at Dato Othman Primary School, STKRJ Kampung Lambak Kiri, 10th June morning.
The launch was officiated by Awang Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Acting Director of the Language and Literature Bureau. Also launched was the Bestari Readers Programme in conjunction with World Book Day 2026 organized by the school. To date, the Mobile Library Service has 78 drop-off points at government, private and religious schools in the Brunei Muara District.
