Programme fosters faith, brotherhood

The Mosque Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs, through its Imarah Division, held the first ‘Subuh Berkat Programme’ at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah in Kiarong yesterday in conjunction with the 80th Birthday Celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

The programme began with a mass Subuh prayer, followed by a religious talk delivered by Assistant Religious Development Officer at the Islamic Da’wah Centre Muhd Safwan bin Mohd Sufian.

Organised in collaboration with the Takmir Committee of Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, the programme served to enhance appreciation of Islamic occasions and provide concise yet beneficial religious knowledge to congregants. It also aimed to cultivate the practice of attending the mosque while strengthening ukhuwah (brotherhood) within the community. The programme sought to deepen understanding and appreciation of Islamic values through brief, meaningful and beneficial religious activities.
