The Government of His Majesty
The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and the Royal
Government of Bhutan have decided to establish diplomatic relations with
effect from 13 July 2026.
The signing of the Joint Communiqué took place at the Permanent
Mission of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations in New York, the
United States of America.
The Government of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of
Brunei Darussalam was represented by Her Excellency Pengiran Hairani
binti Pengiran Haji Tajuddin, Permanent Representative of Brunei
Darussalam to the United Nations in New York, whilst the
Royal Government of Bhutan was represented by His Excellency Tenzin
Rondel Wangchuk, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bhutan
to the United Nations in New York.

Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara
Brunei Darussalam telah menjalin hubungan diplomatik dengan Kerajaan
Diraja Bhutan mulai 13 Julai 2026.
Majlis menandatangani Kenyataan Bersama penjalinan hubungan
diplomatik telah diadakan di Perwakilan Tetap Negara Brunei Darussalam
ke Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu di New York, Amerika Syarikat.
Kerajaan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan
dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam telah diwakili oleh
Puan Yang Terutama Pengiran Hairani binti Pengiran Haji Tajuddin,
Wakil Tetap Negara Brunei Darussalam ke Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa
Bersatu di New York, sementara itu Kerajaan Diraja Bhutan diwakili oleh
Tuan Yang Terutama Tenzin Rondel Wangchuk, Wakil Tetap Kerajaan
Diraja Bhutan ke Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu di New York.
