This year’s celebration carried the theme ‘Indonesia Berdaulat, Adil dan Makmur’ (Sovereign, Just and Prosperous Indonesia), reflecting the country’s commitment to strengthening national sovereignty, upholding justice and improving the well-being of its people.

The ceremony concluded with an aubade performance by children from the Indonesian diaspora in Brunei Darussalam.

The participation of the younger generation highlighted the importance of fostering patriotism, preserving national identity and maintaining strong ties with Indonesia while living abroad.
