Over 300 congregants and local residents gathered at Limau Manis Mosque for the closing ceremony of the Dikir Marhaban in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul 1448 Hijrah celebration recently.
The ceremony featured Dikir and Selawat commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), creating an atmosphere of devotion and love for the Prophet (pbuh).
The event brought together three organisations – Persatuan PERBEKAL, the Limau Manis Mosque Takmir Committee and the Limau Manis Mosque Muslimah Group – in an effort to strengthen ties and promote the spirit of ukhuwah among the community.
It also highlighted the importance of cooperation in strengthening Islamic outreach and fostering closer ties among residents.
Former permanent secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Dato Seri Setia Haji Abd Aziz bin POKML Haji Yusof; President of PERBEKAL Pengiran Haji Nordin bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud; and Penghulu of Mukim Pengkalan Batu Haji Arpan bin Haji Mohamad were in attendance.
Kampong Limau Manis Village Head Firdaus bin Haji Ghafar; Kampong Pancur Murai and Wasan Village Head Mokhtar bin Haji Besar; and Kampong Lambak ‘B’ Village Head Pengiran Jofri bin Pengiran Haji Zaidi were also present.
