The importance of being grateful for the blessing of being among the Umat of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was among the key messages highlighted during a special talk ‘Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam Suluh Aqidah’, held yesterday in conjunction with the Maulud Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam celebration for the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC).
The special talk was delivered by Religious Officer at the Islamic Da’wah Centre, Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji ‘Abdul Mu’iz bin Haji Amat. He also emphasised that Muslims should always be grateful for the blessing of being part of the Umat of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), who has made immense sacrifices in spreading and defending the religion of Allah the Almighty.
The talk also highlighted how Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) educated and shaped a generation of Companions of steadfast faith and character, enabling them to carry the mission of dakwah to various parts of the world.
In this regard, Muslims have a responsibility to appreciate, be grateful for and reflect upon the struggles and sacrifices of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) by practising his teachings and continuing the efforts of dakwah in their daily lives according to each respective capacity.
Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Dato Seri Setia Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos was the guest of honour.
