Muslim women urged to emulate Prophet’s example

Muslim women were encouraged to deepen their understanding of the exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and incorporate his teachings and Sunnah into their daily lives.

The call was highlighted during a special religious talk held in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah in Kiarong last Thursday evening.

The programme was organised by the Muslimah Affairs Division of the Department of Mosque Affairs in collaboration with the Takmir Committee of Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah.

Datin Norazimah binti Haji Ramlee, wife of the Minister of Religious Affairs, attended as the guest of honour.

The event featured invited religious speaker from Malaysia Ustazah Asma’ Harun, who shared insights into the personality, teachings and exemplary qualities of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

The programme sought to strengthen love and devotion towards the Prophet (pbuh), while providing participants with a deeper appreciation of his character and guidance.

It also aimed to encourage Muslim women to follow the Prophet’s example by practising his Sunnah in their everyday lives, while strengthening ties and fostering *silaturahim* among participants.
