The Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam (PPPBD) held its inaugural Maulidur Rasul celebration, providing its members with an opportunity to deepen their appreciation of the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
The programme began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by PPPBD Young Leaders Commissioner Dr Mariam binti Haji Abdul Rahman, who also delivered a special tazkirah on ‘Habibi Ya Rasulullah Salamun ‘Alayk’.
The programme featured welcoming remarks from PPPBD Spiritual Commissioner Hajah Fatimah binti Haji Abd Ghani, as Coordinator of the Maulidur Rasul celebration. It also saw the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Selawat Tafrijiyyah.
PPPBD Lifetime Vice-President Datin Hajah Masni binti Haji Mohd Ali; PPPBD Vice-President Hajah Viviyanti binti Haji Md Ali; and PPPBD Chief Commissioner Norazrina binti Haji Sarbini were in attendance.
