Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan received a courtesy call from Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department (Project Coordinator for Regional Development Agencies, Kuching North City Hall and Islamic Affairs) Datuk Dr Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Junaidi.
The courtesy call took place at the Dhiyafah Room, Level 5, Darul Itqan Building, Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA), Jalan Dewan Majlis yesterday.
Also attending the courtesy call were President of the Sarawak Islamic Council Datuk Haji Misnu bin Haji Taha; Secretary of the Sarawak Islamic Council Tuan Haji Mual bin Suaud; Chief Executive Officer of the Darul Hana Quran Development Centre, Sarawak Islamic Council Haji Mohamad Shalahudin bin Marzuki; and Secretariat Dayang Nur’Maisarrah binti Abang Abdul Razak.
The courtesy call aimed to further strengthen bilateral relations between Brunei Darussalam and Sarawak in the field of religious affairs.
It also provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on initiatives that could benefit the development of the Muslim community, while fostering friendship and cooperation in a cordial atmosphere.
Also present were Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Dr Haji Mohammed Hussain bin Pehin Penyurat Haji Ahmad; Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religion) at the MoRA Haji Shamshol bin Haji Omar; Acting Secretary of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB) Pengiran Ahmad Faris Ramadhani bin Pengiran Haji Sellahuddin; Head of the Islamic Propagation Development Division Haji Aziman bin Awang Haji Zaman; and Head of the Public Relations, International Affairs and MABIMS Division, MoRA Haji Mohammad Albi bin Haji Ibrahim.
