The Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications (MTIC), and its departments, authorities and agencies, held a Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with the 80th Birthday Celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
It took place at the Brunei International Airport Surau last Thursday and was organised by the E-Government National Centre (EGNC).
Present was the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Dato Seri Setia Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos. Also in attendance were the Permanent Secretary, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Chief Executive Officers, Heads of Departments, senior officers, officers and staff of MTIC, as well as personnel from its departments, authorities and agencies.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Yaasin and a Doa Kesyukuran, followed by the mass Zuhur prayer led by Imam Haji Mohammad Asyraf bin Haji Bujang, Imam of the Brunei International Airport Surau.
The ministry’s personnel expressed their gratitude to Allah the Almighty in conjunction with His Majesty’s 80th birthday celebration, while offering prayers for His Majesty’s continued good health, guidance, blessings and protection under the mercy of Allah the Almighty.
Prayers were also offered for Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha and the entire Royal Family, seeking their continued well-being, safety and blessings.
