The Religious Affairs Body of the Royal Brunei Police Force held a lecture in conjunction with the Maulud Nabi Muhammad SAW 1448H/2026M celebration at the Gadong Police Headquarters Surau on Monday.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a lecture highlighting the importance of commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as an expression of Muslims’ love for the Prophet (pbuh). The lecture also emphasised the Prophet’s (pbuh) noble character and exemplary conduct as a model and guide for daily life, as well as the educational and spiritual values contained in his life story, which can be applied in shaping a way of life based on mercy for all creation.
The event concluded with a Doa Selamat, with the hope that appreciation of the Prophet’s (pbuh) life, noble character and teachings will continue to be nurtured in daily life and serve as a guide in carrying out responsibilities with trustworthiness and sincerity.
Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force Dato Paduka Seri Sulaiman bin Alidin and President of PEKERTI Datin Sabrina Aziemah binti Abdullah Chong were the guests of honour.
