Donations ease Belait students’ burden

Ten religious school students from Belait District received donations under the Jalinan Silaturahim Programme, organised by the Inspection Division of the Islamic Studies Department (JPI), Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The annual initiative aims to support underprivileged religious school students by providing essential items, including school supplies, uniforms and other necessities.

Head of the Inspection Division at the JPI Hajah Ernie Yusnani binti Haji Md Noor presented the donations during a ceremony at the Sungai Taring Religious School Hall in Lumut yesterday afternoon.

The programme aims to ease the financial burden on the students’ parents while encouraging the recipients to remain committed to their studies and strive for academic success.

The initiative also reflects a commitment to social responsibility and the welfare of students in need.
