An exhibition showcasing various initiatives, innovations and learning outcomes in education was held yesterday alongside the 36th Brunei Darussalam Teacher’s Day 2026 celebration at the International Convention Centre, Berakas.
Themed ‘Educating with Wisdom, Guiding a Harmonious and Innovative Generation’, the exhibition highlighted efforts to promote education guided by wisdom while nurturing a harmonious generation and integrating innovation into the education system. The exhibits covered areas including sustainability, digital technology, green education and financial literacy, reflecting efforts to develop a generation that is knowledgeable, skilled, of good character and competitive.
The exhibition was divided into two main sections – the Centerpiece Section and Exhibition Section.
The Centerpiece Section featured an excerpt from the titah of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, as well as a Syair by Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam.
Meanwhile, the Exhibition Section featured a total of nine booths showcasing various educational initiatives, innovations and best practices.
The exhibition involved students from primary and secondary schools, technical and vocational education institutions and higher education institutions, alongside departments under the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The exhibition was also held in conjunction with the launch of two major initiatives – the Brunei Darussalam Education Tourism Portal and the National Strategy for Financial Literacy 2026–2035.
