GWM Brunei, represented by authorised sales dealer Berjaya Sdn Bhd, officially launched the all-new GWM HAVAL H7 Petrol and GWM HAVAL H7 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) Hi4 at The Mall, Gadong, expanding its SUV portfolio and strengthening its hybrid vehicles in Brunei.
The GWM HAVAL H7 Petrol is offered at an early-bird price of BND39,900, while the GWM HAVAL H7 HEV is priced at BND42,900. Both introductory prices are valid until October 31, 2026.
Regional Market Director of Great Wall Motor Howard Zhen attended the launch alongside representatives of Berjaya Sdn Bhd, business partners, guests and members of the media.
Howard Zhen highlighted GWM’s global sales milestone of 17 million vehicles and acknowledged Berjaya Sdn Bhd’s contribution to expanding hybrid options suited to local requirements.
The launch marks another milestone in GWM’s ongoing introduction of hybrid technology to the Brunei market.
The GWM HAVAL H7 Petrol delivers 236 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque, paired with a 9-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (9-DCT) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD).
Meanwhile, the HAVAL H7 HEV is powered by GWM’s Hi4 hybrid technology, delivering an impressive 456 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque, paired with a DHT-3 transmission and 1.53 kWh hybrid for powerful acceleration, smooth performance and improved fuel efficiency allowing drivers to enjoy stronger performance without compromising everyday practicality or requiring external charging. Both variants are equipped with a 15.6-inch infotainment display powered by Coffee OS, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, surround sound system and ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, second-row air-conditioning, panoramic sunroof and 50W wireless charging.
The GWM HAVAL H7 also features a 540-degree camera with 3D surround view, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and other advanced driver assistance systems.
In conjunction with the launch, Berjaya Sdn Bhd is hosting a GWM Roadshow at The Mall, Gadong from October 21-25, 2026, featuring an exclusive Spin and Win promotion for customers who purchase any new GWM vehicle during the event.
