A total of 567 kilogrammes of waste was collected during Berakas Power Company Sdn Bhd’s (BPC) Beach Clean-Up Event on October 16, 2026. It was organised by the BPC Green Team as part of the company’s Sustainability Plan and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
The event brought together employees from various departments across the company, including BPC Chief Executive Officer Benard Christian and members of the Senior Management Team, demonstrating a shared commitment to environmental responsibility.
Beyond helping to preserve the coastal environment, the initiative provided an opportunity for employees to interact, collaborate and strengthen working relationships outside the workplace. The event also demonstrated how collective actions can contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable future.
