The Ladies Mini Tournament in the women’s beginner doubles category, organised by BSRC Badminton, was held on October 9 at the BSRC Badminton Hall. Team Ayamor, comprising Zawanah Ishak and Noor Inessa Rosalienda binti Haji Rosman, emerged champions, followed by Team Blush & Smash, comprising Nur Anishaa binti Hamidun and Yusrina binti Hanip, in second place. Team MumSquaD, comprising Dina Mardiana binti Metassan and Nurul Asyiqin binti Yusman, finished third.
The winning team received a complimentary BSRC voucher with three free passes for BSRC Community Social Games and/or BSRC Ladies Night, while the runners-up received two free passes and the third-placed team received one.
Held from 6pm to 10pm under the motto ‘Play, Compete, Inspire’, the tournament aimed to encourage beginner players to develop their skills, build teamwork and promote sportsmanship through friendly competition.
